Historic South Highlands Remodel
Completed in 2018
Vintage Homes was proud to be part of this historical home remodel and expansion in the Shreveport’s South Highlands. This notable home was originally built in the 1950’s and was designed by Annan and Gilmer who also designed the new Governor’s mansion in Baton Rouge. Kevin Bryan was the architect behind the remodel.
Many original details were so loved, they merited the effort to locate items as close as possible. Vintage worked with numerous vendors to keep a cohesive design throughout the expansion. Many craftsman and artisans either carefully refurbished or created custom replicas of lighting fixtures, millwork, and ironwork to perfectly match the rest of the home. We are very thankful for their artistry that really helped us blend the old and new seamlessly.
