Project Management & Estimating

Casey Phillips has been involved in some form of construction starting at a time he took a break from college in the 90’s to frame houses for a local subcontractor. His passion for construction was ignited by this opportunity, which gave him the confirmation of the career path that he would decide to take. Once the decision was made, he chose the University of Louisiana at Monroe because of the reputation the Construction Management program has. While at ULM, he served as Vice President of the construction fraternity, Sigma Lambda Chi and graduated in December 2000 with Cum Laude Honors.

Upon graduation, he was hired as an estimator for a steel fabricator in Monroe. Because of this position, he spent the past 20 years in the role of commercial construction estimating. Even though this wasn’t what he initially went to college to do, because of this opportunity, he was given great responsibility of providing detailed cost estimates. While he was responsible for estimating a couple of high end custom homes, the majority of his time was spent on a wide range of commercial projects including a couple of properties managed by Vintage Realty (Windrush Village Phase I, Fernwood Plaza and Shoppes at Bellemead). This opportunity of estimating, coupled with building a couple of personal homes, has given him the attention to detail that has helped him develop a strong background for managing a project from start to finish.

As Project Manager for Vintage Homes, he has the confidence of the many years of experience and a strong desire to continue the great name Vintage has made for themselves in Northwest Louisiana. His dream job of building houses has been realized.
